  1. Compassion changes society. In point of fact, empathy is the base of solidarity, it describes what you’re like, how being able to understand and share the feelings of others. As the quote goes:”No one cares how much you know until they know how much you care.” Nonetheless, we live in divided, divisive society full of mistrust. People grow fearful and suspicious of one another. They stop being a community. What is worst compassion, solidarity and kindness have been replaced by narcissism, animosity and cruelty. People are self-involved and care just about their glory. A crrippling effect, are at the origine of this problem. First of all, the kids spend far less time in instructed activities with others and prefer spending time in front of screens, television, video games etc…. In addition to this, high and middle school students value personal success, and their parents and teachers do, too. Hence, the best way to solve this problem is to break out of bubble by volunteering and civic engagement. Equally important, practice compassion, Dalai Lama once said:”If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy practice compassion.”
All in all, in reference to Demarco:”When empathy is missing other people become an annoyance, even a threat or enemy.”

  2. No one can deny, that empathy has been one of the debated issues nowadays. In fact, the causes of the decline of empathy in society are various. As examples: less of instructional activities, Self-involvement, and prejudice. However, we can find a solution to this issue, such as community service. We must push students to help needy people and teach them the importance of sharing.
With reference to: “When empathy is missing, other people become a threat or enemy “, I conclude that empathy is such an important feeling which means to be able to understand and share the feelings of others. In addition to that, the problem is in us because we’re not sociable we just think about our happiness we don’t know that there are some people who need our help, so we must break out of our bubble by volunteering.
By the way, we should practice compassion as Dalai Lama said: “If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy practice compassion.”

  3. Often When using empathy and compassion, many people envision them as having the same meaning.
While they may share similar circumstances, they are quite different.
Empathy is more of an emotional response with an understanding of a person’s particular situation as Mohsin Hamid said:” Empathy is about finding echoes of another person in your self whereas compassion is an emotion that arouses an active response to alleviate a distressful situation.
Nevertheless, these dissimilar expressions are paramount in the way people respond to the individual needs of others and how they reach out to others in their local communities. Dalai Lama said “if you want others to be happy practice compassion and if you wanna be happy practice compassion”compassion is a feeling that must be learned Compassion is feeling of sympathy for someone who is in a bad situation that doesn’t mean step into the shoes of another person but it’s just the desire to help.

  4. Compassion or empathy changes the society. In point of fact, when people are compassionate, they feel and people happy. As Dalai Lama says:”If you want others to be happy ,practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.”That ‘s why people must take inatiative to help homeless who are lost in the shuffle and also the one’s who sleep rough on the street. In addition to that ,the poor and needy people who live in grinding poverty and that begging is their last revort to feed their families.Like our center High Up Academy did:it helps the poor students of “Imam Chatebi” by buying and seling delicious food. All the students of this center empathize with them, they showed great kindness to them not like the people who not only turn a blind eye but also gave them the cold shoulder and even treat them with comtempt. So ,we must not turn deaf ears to this homeless people and kids,we must give them a helping hand!
All in all,If we long for a better and happier society,we must be compassionate.

  5. Compassion changes society. In point of fact, when people are compassionate they feel and make people happy. As Dalai.Lama said:”If you want others to be happy practice compassion,if you want to be happy practice compassion.”Since, our world is full of hostility and antagonism among the different social classes. That’s why High up academy try to raise smile in children faces and bring hapiness and joy in their hearts by collecting money and donations in order to give it to Imam Chatibi school.
But what is worst, most of families are indifferent, they turn a deaf ears and give them the cold shoulder and walk over the needy nation .They let them lost in the shuffle.Added to that, they hit them with silent treatment.
So to change that,we must be initiative with homeless kids and put ourselves in their choose and show them great kindness and share their pain.Taking an example of Dan Talkins a founder buses for homeless who take the initiative to refurbish the buses into spaces for eating, wellbeing, sleeping and learning.Besides,he helps them to be a positive people thinkers.
And finally, we have to put hand in hand because helping others must be the norm not the exeption. As the quote goes:”What is the essence of life?to serve others and to xo good.”

  6. Compassion changes the society.Yet,people are self involved they don’t tkink about other people ,they think just about their glory, they stop being a community. But the compassionate people want to impart their knowledge to other people. As John.M says:”don’t be that person who lacks empathy or crirtical thinking, but practice the cultivation of each, daily”. Additionly, compassion, solidarity, and kindness have been replaced by narcissm, animosity, and cruelty. In order words, some kids spend most of their time in early in life, they play outdoors much less and they spend far less time in unstructured activity with others than prior generations. Last but not least , with refence to Vanessa Tucker:”Stay connected to feel empathy , compassion and understanding for yourself and others”.

  7. Empathy involves the ability to emotionally understand what another person is experiencing. Essentially, it is putting yourself in someone else’s position and feeling what they must be feeling. When you see another person suffering, you might be able to instantly envision yourself in the other person’s place and feel sympathy for what they are going through.
While people are generally pretty well-attuned to their own feelings and emotions, getting into someone else’s head can be a bit more difficult. The ability to feel empathy allows people to “walk a mile in another’s shoes,” so to speak. It permits people to understand the emotions that others are feeling.

  8. Compassion changes the society. In fact, when people are compassion, they feel and make people happy. As D.L says “if you want others to be happy practice compassion. If you want to be happy practice compassion”. As we did in high up academi,we did an activity whose named “cook for a smile”.we cook and we seel the food ,the money that we collected we gived to the school Imam achatibie to refurbish their library. And we have an other example, Dan an American citizen who refurbish a buses to shelter for the homeless. In those buses their ‘s a place to sleep ,a place to study, a place for toilets and a place where they eat. I hope to have a lot of buses like that in the word

  9. Compassion changes the society. In fact, nowadays we are leaving in a divided, divisive society full of mistrust. People keep to themselves and they are stopping being a community. Nevertheless, we can overcome these obstacles by engaging students in community service activities and teaching them the importance of sharing.
As the quote goes:”No one cares how much you know until they know how much you care.” Nonetheless, we are living in a society in which compassion, solidarity and kindness have been replaced by narcissism, animosity and cruelty. People are self-involved and care just about their glory. Furthermore, what is worst, is the source of this problem. Kids spend much time in screens than spending time in unstructured activities with others. And that is a result of science and technology revolution. Moreover, with reference to a research conducted in the U.S; empathy is on the decline. A study from the university of Michigan, noticed that empathy has declined 40 % among college students.
To conclude, as a solution, in our academy “High up Academy”, we are working on building a strong society by community services. The best examples are the volunteery works that we do every year. This activities are so beneficial; it makes the student a good citizen and a future leader by collaborating and manipulating his services.

  10. Compassion empathy changes the society . In fact , It goes beyond simply understanding others and to do something that makes them happy . So we work together , we create relations with lot of people and we rase smiles in their faces also they will not feel that they are alone but they will know that they are surrounded by people who want their goods and success in their life . In addition to this , bake and sale activity is one the compassionate emphaty because we collect money then we gived to the poor people . We help them and understand their feelings . So , we will coexist with each others , also they will benefits lot from this help .
All in all compassionate empathy is a skills that everyone must have In order to live in equality and yo create a society based on peace and love as a quote goes on ” I think that compassion is an important quality in people in general ” .

  11. practicing compassion is easy and has a lot of abilities. It’s been one of the most important qualities of a human. In fact, People start becoming selfish. They just think about what they want, what they fee land what they think. But there are some people who still conscious about how empathy can change our lives.
In class, we sow a video that speaks about a man who volunteers himself and made a project named: “bus 4 homeless”.This project is destined for the homeless. It has four buses: one for sleeping, one for wellbeing, another for eating and the last one is for leadership. We must stop judging from outside and start acting right because a lot of homeless and poor people are lost in the shuffles and are in the throes of grinding poverty and their last resort is begging to feed their families. So we must stand up for poor people in order to make them feel happy. As the quote goes ” Compassion and tolerance are not sign of weakness but a sign of strength”.

  12. In a world full of animosity and resentment, people only bear ill will and hold strong grudges against each other, sociologists agree that it is due to diverse reasons for example : self involvement and technology. Still, compassion motivates people to get out of their way to help each other and concur the enmity within the society.
Teenagers and children are the future generation but they lack empathy which is one of the primary keys to success and happiness, in point of fact studies show that empathy has declined 40 percent among college students, owing to the ranking programs that developed selfish and narcissist qualities in students’ minds, they become more self centered and greedy, they value their personal achievements over other’s physical and mental pain. Moreover kids now prefer playing aggressive video games than unstructed activities, they no more care about creating new friendships or socializing, especially some teens who love hiding behind their fake profiles instead of facing the real world afraid they would be misjudged.
We live in a divided, divisive society full of skepticism and mistrust, but we can overcome our problems and obstacles by engaging the younger generation in activities that can increase their compassion level, such as volunteer work. Actually it provides enormous benefits for both the society and the individual, students will be able to understand the pain and the suffering of others and as a result take action in helping them. Besides helping others, making them happy and creating a smile on their faces can mean the world to you and make you happy as well , as Dalai Lama said “ If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.”
In conclusion, practicing compassion can allow others and ourselves to break down stereotypes, get out of our bubble and create an understanding society. As Yasmin Mogahed once said “Compassion is to look beyond your own pain to see the pain of others.”

  13. Compasion change the society yet , nowadays we live in a society that is full of mistrast , and in which compassion, solidarity and kindness have been replaced by narcissism, animosity and cruelty and , people grow so self-involved specially kids who they play outdoors much less than old generation. As according to the Mishigan university empathy has declind 40% amoung college student and is due to to the screen time , less compassion and stay in house . To solve this problem we have a lot of solution : The compassionate people should to impart their knowledge to other people and practice compassion every day.
All in all , we must empathyze with others and practice compassion . As quote goes : ” If you want others to be happy , practice compassion if you want to be happy practice compassion.”

  14. No one can deny, that empathy has been one of the debated issues in the world, in recent years. In point of fact, our society is becoming worst. People are not more a community. And These issues have a ripple effect. As once said, “when empathy is missing other people become threat or enemy”. In addition to that, kids are spending much less time playing outdoor and far less time in unstructured activity and spending their time in front of the screen. Without spending free time with playmates, children don’t get to know each other very well and can’t learn how to connect and care. Nevertheless, we have to break out of our bubbles to solve this problem. Engaging children in community services is one step further to solve the problem. We also have to practice compassion. As Dalai Lama once said, « if you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy practice compassion ».

  15. In a world of such violence, acrimony and cruelty; a word like compassion has no more meaning. In point of fact, we are all conscious of what’s going on nowadays, we stop being a community, we don’t help each other and the worst is that kindness, compassion and empathy have been replaced by cruelty, indifference and acrimony. The question worth asking now is: why today’s generation is less empathetic than the prior generation?
Actually, the first culprit we identify is social media. Kids spend less time in unstructured activities than the prior generation, in other words; the outdoor play has been replaced by screens, no more children are playing outside, they are all in front of their smartphones, laptops and TVs. Consequently, kids don’t communicate, don’t have friends so cannot care about others.
In addition to this, parents and teachers should be blamed too. In fact, no more parents are giving charity to needy people next to their children, they don’t show them how must voluntary work is a prerequisite thing in life. Beside this, teachers don’t give much moral lessons to students and don’t involve them in voluntary activities or team work, as a result, students become self-centered and indifferent, they try to get their personal achievement without helping others.
However,as Dalai Lama said:”if you want others to be happy, practice compassion, if you want to be happy, practice compassion”, with reference to this quote, we conclude that compassion and empathy are not beneficial only for others but also for our-self. Actually, as humans we should feel sad for our siblings pain, we should not only feel sympathy with needy people, but develop it and act to feel empathy with them, because true compassion means not only feeling another’s pain but also being moved to help relieve it, and to help you should firstly understand the situation which is an intellectual empathy, then you must feel that person’s pain applying the idea of “your pain in my heart” which is an emotional empathy and finally you should act to help which is a compassionate empathy.
To summarize, compassion is a muscle that gets stronger with use, it means that you should practice compassion every day till it becomes a habit, even with small acts, you can draw a smile on someone’s face, and never forget that “small acts when multiplied by million of people can transform the world”.

  16. compassion change the society.in point of fact, when people compassionate they feel and they make people happy,in annother way,is to putt your self in someone else’s position as dalai lama said ” if you want others to be happy, practice compassion.if you want to be happy practice compassion”.As we did in high up,an activity whose named ”cook for a smile ” we sell what we cook, and from those money we refurbish the library of imam achatibie.at class we saw dan an American citizen who refurbish four buses.the first is for sleeping, the second is for eating, the thirth is for studying and the last one is for toilet.in my opinion we must do al ot of initiative work to avoid the hatred beetwing the rich and the poor.

  17. It is undeniable that compassion and empathy could change a society. As a matter of fact, our society became segregated and divided, pushing people to feel suspicious and fearful of one another. Including the fact that compassion, tenderness, and and support have been replaced by cruelty, selfishness and mercilessness. Nevertheless, we can overpower these problems, and that’s by pushing and teaching students to take part in voluntary work and community service.

In fact, Compassion and empathy are a way to break down stereotypes because the more we are engaged in voluntary work, the more we create friendship and socialize with people without having to worry about the person’s race, religion or age. Pushing us to break out of our bubbles and meet new people. In addition to this, compassion is a way to create happiness and draw smiles on other’s faces. As the quote goes “When we take actions that are caring and loving, we feel more love in return”. For example, the activity we did in High up Academy was a way to show empathy, kindness and support as well as being happy and sharing happiness.

Moreover, Volunteering helps kids understand how others live, a skill that can build their sense of empathy. Thinking about others puts their own challenges in perspective. Empathy is much more than a philosophical ideal. It can have a profound impact on the way kids experience their lives.

All in all, Compassion and empathy could have a large impact in our society, helping us to stop antipathy, antagonism and animosity. By creating friendship, showing support, and sharing happiness through community service and voluntary work. As the quote goes ” If you light a lamp for someone else it will also brighten up your path.

  18. Compassion changes the society, it’s one of the best qualities a person can have and show it to others.
Unfortunately, we are living in a devided and devisive society full of mistrust, people gain no trust from others, they grow fearful and suspiscious from one another. They are scared to open up to people, to tell them their pain and problems, so, they keep everything to themselves.
Well, that’s why we have empathy (or compassion), which we must spread with people and relatives to gain their trust and be in the throes of what they’re going through, and, share mutual feelings and deep understanding. As the quotation goes: “Sharing Is Caring”; and as Firestone says: “When We Take Actions That Are Caring And Loving, We Feel More Love In Return”. That’s right, you get the same energy back and positivity.
To conclude, compassion is the best deed, because when there’s empathy spread in the society, we fight the envy and the antagonism, which has negative effects on our life and betrays relashionships with people. So, we must show up everything that brings up positivity.

  19. Empathy is simply the ability to put oneself in the place of the other to understand his mode of operation, his thoughts and his emotions (joy, sadness, suffering …). This is how you normally feel when you see an athlete screaming in pain after a sports failure on TV. the Compassion or empathy can changes the society as Dalai Lama says:”If you want others to be happy ,practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.” if we use it we can change our way of living in
fact but empathy can harm us because we can be insensitive to our emotion and it pushes us to take care of others but not of us so we have to establish a balance between us and the other.
but I see in class a man is a founder of a project named: “bus 4 homeless” This project is destined for the homeless.each bus has a utility one for learning and one for sleeping and one for eating and the last for medicine . As the quote goes ” Compassion and tolerance are not sign of weakness but a sign of strength”.

  20. No one can deny that empathy’s disappearance becomes one of the debatable issues now days. The overwhelming majority of the high level experts agree that community service is one of the most practical and the most needed solution to solve this issue and to save our societies from selfishness that will guide to civil wars.
In fact, empathy has perfect effects on people’s relationships. In otherwords, empathy fosters and reinforces the relation between the communities. As an example B&S called also cooking the students get engaged in the initiative and collect money to raise the smile on poor people’s faces. In addition to this, coexist with people different social backgrounds and also it creates an act of piece and love between the poor and the riche fuling hearted and civil wars. All in all:”When empathy missing other people become threat or enemies”.☺

  21. Empathy is simply the ability to put oneself in the place of the other to understand his mode of operation, his thoughts and his emotions (joy, sadness, suffering …). This is how you normally feel when you see an athlete screaming in pain after a sports failure on television. the Compassion or empathy can changes the society as Dalai Lama says:”If you want others to be happy ,practice compassion .If you want to be happy ,practice compassion.” If we use it we can change our way of living

As the quote goes ” Compassion and tolerance are not sign of weakness but a sign of strength”.

  22. Hello everyone, my name is Othmane, today’s speech is about empathy. In point of fact, seeing a child without parent crying on the street alone, seeing an elderly sad with a bad health lost in the shuffle, and seeing people die from famine next to you. So when you see those things you feel empathy. Actually, empathy is sharing your feeling with someone by imagining what would be if you were in the same place, and as the quote goes: empathy is seeing with the eyes of another, listening with ears of another, and feeling with the heart of another. In fact, it is sometimes confused with sympathy or pity but it goes beyond those two emotions. In addition to this, empathy is divided in tree types which are not only cognitive empathy but also emotional empathy and even compassionate empathy, in other word, intellectual empathy is the ability to hear thoughtful and imagine what it’s like to share in someone’s experience. Moreover, emotional empathy is the ability to share the feelings of another person and some have described it as “your pain in my heart”. And also, compassionate empathy is the only type that actually moves us to take action to help. And nowadays, we can see the minorities in Berkane suffering of famine and exposed to the grinding poverty and haven’t where they can live. So our two centers high up academy and OKE center had a compassionate empathy to them, because they react with organizing the bake and sale activity, where student sale food to others and from the money collected, we buy for them cloths and stories and even back bag to raise their smile. To conclude, and As Roosevelt sad: no one cares how much you know, until they know how much you care.

  23. Community service builds the volonteer s empathy.
In point of fàct , impathy means understanding and sharing the felling of the others . In other words , empathy move us to tavk actoin to help .
As the quote goes “no one care how much you know until how much you care”.
That means that no one care about your informations and your knowledge if you don’t care about them, but if you care about them and they fell it they will love you and you’ re going to creat a great community based on peace , compation , solidarity and kindness . In addition to this , we must help the poor people to rise the smill in their faces . All in all , if you others be happy practice compation, If you want to be happy practice compation .

  24. No one can deny that empathy’s disappearance becomes one of the debatable issues now days. The overwhelming majority of the high level experts agree that community service is the most practical and the most needed to solve this issue and our society from selfishness that will guide us to civil wars.
In fact, empathy has perfect effects on people’s relationships. In otherwords empathy fosters and reinforces the relation between the communities. So as an example B&S students get engaged in this initiative and collect money to raise the smile on poor people’s faces. In addition to this, coexist with people different social backgrounds and also it creates an act of piece and love between the poor and the riche fuling hearted and civil wars. All in all, as the cote goes”when empathy missing people become threat or enemies.”

  25. compassion can change our lives. In point of fact, we live in a divided, divisive society full of mistrust. People grow fearful, suspicious, and become self-involved. They spend far less time in unstructured activity with others than prior generations. Compassion gives us the ability to understand someone else’s situation and the desire to take actions to improve their lives. As Firestone said: When we take actions that are caring and loving, we fell more love in return. This is why community service is one of the best ways to relive antagonism and animosity and to spread solidarity and clemency. It builds people’s empathy and critical thinking. In addition to this, compassionate community break down stereotypes: the more we participate in volunteering and civic activities, the more we break out from our bubbles. Come to the conclusion, compassion is one of the single most important qualities we can possess as human beings

  26. Compassion chages the society yet people are self involved. In fact,it has a lot of reasons, one of them is that there is less unstractur activities and most of people spent All their time in front of screens. In addition to that, the parents play an important role in making this society more divisive and this happened because the parents want just that there kids get the best marks so,they forget to focus on educate to their kids to be sympathetic and evoid the enemity and the hate. Also the teachers are guilty since they teache their students just what is in the programme and don’t educate them to impart their knowledge and this make them self-fish because when the empathy is missing, the people become ennoyance.

  27. Compassion changes society. In point fact the new generation are living in a divided, divisive society full of mistrus, the people become fearful and suspicious and even selfish they care just about their glory and spending far less time in unstructured activity with others than prior generations, Because of the parents who grow in their children that strangers are criminals, and they should always beware of them. Among the most prominent solutionsthe compassionate people must impart and share their knowledge to other people and also through volunteering and community service we break out of bubbles. As the quotes “said no one care how much know until much you care”

  28. It’s undeniable that compassion changes the world.Actually , it’s one of the best qualities that a person can have to affect one others. In fact , Compassion mean understand others and share feelings, also it move us to take actions.Unfortunately, our society bocomes more divided and divisive. We are living in a society full of animosity and grudge .Futhemore, people became more self-involved and rude in their dealings with others. For instance, kids and teenagers are the ones who are going to build new generations but they don’t have the meaning of empathy which one of the priorities of success like the prior geneations. And one the main reason that lead to this consequences is thecnology. In breif , it got a huge effect on kids especially who are less than 12 years old.And one of the solutions to solve this catastrophic problem is changing the educational system and replace with a system contain a hidden informations to encourage them to empathize with others and be more social .tho conclude, it’s undebatble that compassion affect on community enduringness.

  29. No one can deny that compassion changes the society, it is one of the most important values, but a really rare one.

Unfortunately, we live in a dibided, divisive society where people grow fearful and suspicious of one another. We live in a world where people are most likely to show more selfish qualities, and think just about their own benefit and glory. Well empathy and compassion will change our whoke lives, it will help people be more open to each other and break out from our bubbles.

However, volunteering is such a good start to change our society and share compassion and empathy, in fact, people will get to make new friends while doing this activity, but still the main benifit of this, is to learn to put ourselves in the shoes of the others, and HELP the ones who need us.

To conclude, empathy and compassion can have a huge impact on our society, we will be able to get rid of Antipathy, Animosity, and Antagonism. And of course, we will end up with a better life. As the quote goes:” Opinion is really the lowest form of human knowledge. It requires no accountability, no understanding. The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another’s world. It requires profound purpose larger than the self kind of understanding – Bill Bullard”

  30. Empathy and compassion , two simple words that have the power to change the world ,this great ability of understanding and sharing feeling with one another with no fear of being judged or misunderstood , it even goes beyond simply willing to help to actually taking actions and making a change .
in a point of fact ,we live in a divided divisive society loaded with mistrust , we may not realise it , but we grow up fearful and extremely suspicious of one another , we sadly lost our values due to myriad of factors , mainly , as Jean Twenge labels it “the narcissism epidemic” ; nowadays , people are so self-involved and self-centric , here comes the actual role of compassion and empathy . They have the ability to drive the society to be inclusive and to allow all of its members to be fully engaged in life, it make us realise how a single act of compassion can change a person’s life forever, it is this simple willingness to give and expect nothing in return which pushes us to be more open and respect different beliefs , ideas and opinions, enlarge our perspective and identity as we find communalities with others , increases our happiness and to spread it outwards due to how contagious compassion is .So why not ?
in order to spread compassion , we should practice in first place and one of the best ways to it is involving students in community service . Volunteering has the power to connect them to one another , increases their social and relationship skills especially those who have hard time making new friends , helps them stay physically healthy and simply have fun.
To conclude , compassion is as vital as the air we breathe , it makes us so aware of how powerful can a small deed be and as the quote goes on “ we can’t heal the world today, but we begin with a voice of compassion, a heart of love, an act of kindness”

  31. In a world where hatred and mistrust have prevailed. Compassion and empathy cease to be visible. In actual fact, researches have shown that empathy has been declined among most college students, scientists have labelled it as a “narcissism epidemic”. It is beyond a shadow of a doubt that modern child rearing practices are putting empathy at risk. Actually, most of the time that used to be spent playing outdoors is now spent in front of screens, and this has a significant impact on the child’s mindset. Moreover, technology is developing at a very fast pace, which is making people and specifically students spend much more time on their screens than usual. Students’ addiction to social media and the ease of having online “friends” has brought them to be much less empathetic.
On the other hand, it is said that practicing compassion can change people’s lives and make them feel happy. Simply because of the fact that we cannot be truly happy unless we establish positive connections with others; and to establish a positive relationship with someone, compassion, kindness and empathy come to mind. Another reason is because compassion diverts our attention away from problems which, when focused upon, loom large in our minds.
All in all, compassion and empathy are the keys to a community’s development. Dalai Lama once said “If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.”

  32. Empathy has been one of the most debated issues in the world. Animosity becomes a widespread phenomenon withe severe consequences. This problem can only be solved through the good education and voluntary work.
Nowadays, we live in a divisive and divided society, where people stop being a community. So, solidarity and kindness have been replaced by narcissism and cruelty. With reference to some researches, students are showing more selfish qualities, and that because of their parents and teachers. Additionally, today ‘s kids play outdoors much less than the prior generations, they spend their time in front of screens(television, computer, IPad…), so they simply don’t know each other very well.
Eventually, parents and teachers must teach their kids the good values, such as generosity, honesty, compassion… And teach them the importance of sharing. As the quote goes :” True compassion exists when you give your strength, guidance and wisdom to empower another so that you can see who you really are and expect nothing in return. ” they should make them spend more time with people, so they start thinking in the other’s problems. People must be more interested in volunteering, so that the rich help the poor and the strong help the weak.
Briefly to conclude, compassion can change the society. As Dalai Lama says:” If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion. ”

  33. It’s undeniable that compassion changes the world. In point of fact , the new generation are living in a divided, divisive society full of mistrus, the people become fearful , suspicious and even selfish such as they care just about their glory. They stop being a community. As Dalai Lama said :* If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy practice compassion * . Add to this, one of the culprits that we identify is the way that they spent most of their time early in life. Worse, much of the time that used to be spent playing outdoors is now spent in front of screens. The TV, obviously cannot teach empathy. Even nonviolent kids’TV. All in all, compassion and empathy are the keys to a community’s development.

  34. Compassion and empathy are closely related, compassion is an emotional response that creates the desire to help and empathy is our feeling of awareness towards other people’s emotions and an attempt to understand how they feel. They are the base of humanity.
Yet, we still live in a divided and divisive society full of mistrust, what is worst is that solidarity, compassion and kindness have been replaced by narcissism, animosity and cruelty. In fact, people are still self-involved and self-centred; we are ignoring the fact that we are growing fearful and suspicious of one another. Empathy and compassion are needed in everyday life, especially when interacting with others. Without these two values, it can be difficult to maintain healthy relationships. This is because they help us exhibit kind and loving behaviour to our loved ones, which helps reinforce the relationship.
For instance, bake and sale is a special event that develops many values especially compassionate empathy which is taking action to help people and not just sympathizing with them, but, there are even more benefits to volunteering. We notice a subtle shift in ourselves when we volunteer. We feel more connected to others, and we become less absorbed in the normal stresses of daily life. We share our experiences with others and want to help more.
To conclude, when you start to develop your powers of empathy and imagination, the whole world opens up to you.

  35. It’s undeniable that compassion changes the society. In point of fact, the purpose of human life is to serve, show compassion and the will to help others. We cannot progress as society, as people if we lack compassion. As we know, the highest form of khowledge is empathy. Empathy is the key to stand up to bullying, build connection with each other and increase our leadership skills. Neverthless, people nowdays have replaced compassion, solidarity and kindness with narcissism, animosity and cruelty. A study from the university of Michigan have noticed empathy has declined 40% among college students. So, people become so self-involved and they care just about their success.
The reasons are so many, to state some: kids spend far less time in unstructured activities and play outdoors much less. Also, television and screens became one of the priorities for the kids so they spend more time on screens which was supposed to be spent on playing outdoors. Moreover, the main reason behind this mistrust and antagonism are parents and teachers who teach and encourage students to value personal success over concern for others. In one word, when people are connected to others in an environment that posses mutual support: We feel happier, healthier and more positive about the world.
Finally, I draw the following conclusion : A kind of gesture can reach a wound that only compassion can heal. With regard to Lama’s quote: “If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion” .

  36. It is incontestable ,that, compassion changes the society, in point of fact, when people are compashinate, they feel the homless people and make them happy ,as dalai lama says:”if you want others be happy ,practice compassion, if you want be happy, practice compassion for example, high up academy is a school of English and leadership.this school practice compassion an ader school of the poor students names:imam eshatibi ,in ader words, some students buy and sail some foods ,too ,some parents give some clothes and money ,also, they plant somes trees and flowers at the garden of this school and ,they refurbish theit libary,so , this school feel draw a smile for this poor kids, they feel their poverty.
In a nut shell ,we must practice empathy with any one ,because ,we can change his or her life.

  37. Compassion changes the society. In point of fact, when people are compassionate they feel and make people happy, in other words, to feel what people feel. As Daila Lama says: ” If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.” For example, the activity of HIGH UP ACDEMY “cook for a smile”, was an activity to collect money in reason to buy books clothes… for IMAM CHATEBI student’s. In addetion to this, talking abouit feeling about what the others feel, we saw a video about an American person named Dan who have four buses, one for eating, the second for sleeping, the other for reading, and the last one is for the toilet, all this four buses are for homllesse. Finally, my opinion it’s to be equal, the poor like the rich…

  38. Imagine a world without compassion , empathy and kindness , a world where no one is able to understand anybody else’s feelings . Actually this is what we are living in nowadays, our society is divided , full of mistrust and the majority of people are self-involved and self-centred , they don’t only grow fearful and suspicious of one another but also they keep everything to themselves and even they stop being a community, that is worst is that compassion, solidarity and kindness have been replaced by narcissism, animosity and cruelty . In additional to that much of the time that used to be spent playing outdoors,is now spent in front of screens :TV , smart phones …which creates an indirect aggression in people’s personalities. Actually, I was thinking , and I noticed that we have to change . I believe that practicing compassion is like fighting a hard battle because to walk this earth , to feel the pain , the sadness and the suffering that comes from expériencing our humanity is not an easier thing , but it makes this whole life a lot easier and it’s such a key of happiness, as the quote goes « if you want others be happy ,practice compassion ,if you want to be happy ,practice compassion .»

  39. Empathy is ,at its simplest, awareness of the feelings and emotions of other people. It is a key element of emotional intelligence, the link between self and others , because it is how we as individuals understand what others are experiencing as if we were feeling it ourselves. Empathy is so important but it’s the missing link in our families,in our schools, and in our workplaces. That’s why we are living in a devided, divisive society full of mistrust. People keep to themselves and they are stopping being a comunity. Nevertheless, we can overcome these problems by engaging students in community service activities and teaching them the importance of sharing. That’s what high up academy is doing, it builds a strong society by community services . The best examples are the volunteery work that we do every year. This activities makes students a good citizen and a future leader by collaborating and manipulating his services.” If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion “

  40. No one can deny that compassion changes society. In point of fact , It has the power to change the entire world. Unfortunately, we live in devided , divisive society full of mistrust , people grow fearful and suspicious of one other and just care about their glory. Solidarity and respect are replaced with enmity and animosity. Well compassion can change it, it makes the volounteer optimistic and make him break out from his bubble . Besides, it fosters the relationships between people . According to some researches , college students s empathy has declined 40./. wich make care just about their success. The main reason is that teachers and parents who teaches their childs and encourage them to value personnal success over concern for others. So we must act and practice compassion as the quote goes: If you want others be happy, practice compassion, practice copassion

  41. Compassion changes the world. In point of fact nowadays, people are living in a divided society full of mistrust. Moreover, they stop being a community and they replaced solidarity and kindness by the worst; such as narcissism and cruelty. Nevertheless, we can overcome these obstacles by engaging students in community service activities and teaching them the importance of sharing.
With reference to some recent researches confirmed that empathy is on the decline. Hence, people are so self-involved and care just about their own goals, own glory. One of the main culprits is screens. Indeed, the unstructured activities are replaced by TV or video games, obviously cannot teach empathy, and it reduces communication.
But actually, we have to break out of the bubbles. Furthermore, compassionate empathy can cut down this worldwide phenomenon. It is based on actions and it pushes us to move and act. Beside, it is the most active form of empathy.
To conclude, empathy can changes our vision to others. As the quot goes:” When empathy is missing, other people become a threat or enemy”.

  42. In our daily life, we cannot deny the fact that we usually find ourselves confronting situations when we show compassion and empathy for others in need. In a point fact, compassion and emapathy is the key that opens any door for people in need.
As the quote goes “no one care how much you know until how much you care”,that’s means it’s all about your how much you care, and you can only prove it by actions, the last one called community service.
Community service is a non-paying job look for the benefit of the community including the citizenship requirements as well as it’s an action of understanding the suffering of others and that moves you to take action for helping them also we can called it compassionate empathy.
to conclude, without empathy and compassion our sociaty will decimate, we will live in sociaty full of acrimony, animosity and antagonism, our sociaty is like a shabby clothe and epathy in the sewing machine

  43. In our daily life, we cannot deny the fact that we usually find ourselves confronting situations when we show compassion and empathy for others in need. In a point fact, compassion and emapathy is the key that opens any door for people in need.

to concluden, without empathy and compassion our sociaty will decimate, we will live in sociaty full of acrimony, animosity and antagonism, our sociaty is like a shabby clothe and epathy in the sewing machine.

  44. Compassion changed society ,in point of fact, people in our generation are self-involved and some of them are mistrust . Nevertheless ,we can overcome these obstacles by engaging students in community service activities and teaching them the importance of sharing.
Compassion or empathy is the ability to impart knowledge to other people. As DALAI LAMA said “if you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy , practice compassion” ,his remarks capture a simple truth: your happiness depends on your relationships and interactions with others. In addition to that , it has more benefits like getting more friends and learning from sharing knowledge how to help people who needs us , because the more we work to create a welcoming community, the more we break out of our bubbles
On the other hand ,we live in a divided ,divisive society where people are self-centred , they grow fearful and suspicious ,one of the culprits is parents and teachers who give students some antipathic ideas , what is worst compassion, solidarity and kindness have been replaced by narcissism, animosity and cruelty
I come to my conclusion hoping to try to change our society by being able to share what you know, and don’t forget to don’t be that person who lacks empathy.

  45. compassion changes society. in fact, we are living in a divided, divisive society full of mistrust wich makes people grow fearful and suspicious of one another. However the world can change if we change our care of the glory and our own benefit by two simple things; compassion and empathy, those two simple words can make a huge change in this world full of narcissism, animosity, and cruelty.
However, involving people in community service activities like:volunteery work… those activities will help people to make new friends , but still the main benifit of this, is to learn to put ourselves in the shoes of the others, and start moving instead of just talking as the quote goes”Empathy is seeing with the eyes of another, listening with the ear of another, anf feeling with the heart of another”.
To conclude compassion and empathy are two keys words for a better society. those are some basic things that children should practice from their childhood as the quote goes:”if u want others to be happy, practice compassion”

  46. It is undeniable that Singapore has become one of the smartest countries in the world. Infact, this country succeeded against the odds, deftly navigating its way through stormy waters of domestic turmoil, regional strife and international politics. And the traits behind this comprehensive success are many. Firsty, Singapore founding Prime Minister focused on having a small, but honest and efficient government which puts the priorities first and follows a particular planning. It payed all of its attention to its people; It first started providing affordable public houses. At first, only 9% of the popularity had their own houses, but now only 20% are homeless. In addition to that it made enormous investments in high quality health care and in education systems. As a result, Singapore got second in the PISA Worlwide Ranking and its medication is considered as the most efficient in the world. Second of all, Singapore considers the strategic location an everything. It just suspended in the Malacca Strait and now it guarantees the control on 40% of trading passes. Afterall, this small country lacks from natural resources. So, without its location it wouldn’t be able to afford the needs it doesn’t have. Third of all, this small island provides safety to their citizens, which encourages them to be more poductive and beneficial for the whole society. Last but not least, it encourages foreign investments and it also keeps close ties with Britain even after its independence. As a result; internally, the unemployment in Singapore has dropped out from 14% to 0.1%, the medium minimum salery there is 3 270 $ and the services increased from 24% to 75%. And externally, it has become the second world’s easiest place to do business.
All in all, success is inevitable. All what you need is determination, strategy and to focus on innovting, creativity, novelty, uniqueness and authenticity to reach modernity.

We live in a world full of divided, divisive societies where only hostility and animosity exist. Empathy has declined to be replaced by epidemic narcissism. Nevertheless, it is the life-changing solution that every single human being needs.
In point of fact, the reasons behind the decrease of compassion, especially among college students
are the following: the time that should be spent outdoors doing unstructured activities, is instead
spent in front of screens, getting our minds filled up with thoughts, that influence us negatively. In
addition to this, parents and teachers also got a hand on what is happening. Indeed, they value kids by their marks and don’t give any importance to their morals or to their education. That’s why, nowadays, students value their personal success over concern of others.

However, we can overcome this obstacle. That’s by using some solutions, such as: practicing compassion as Dalai Lama suggested. To do this, we should engage ourselves in community service activities. After all, voluntary work helps us to break out of the bubbles, to meet and to interact with people and to build our compassion. While doing such activities, we get to impart our knowledge in order to motivate each other and to go beyond simply understanding others and sharing their feelings. We get to move to action, to lift people from the throes of grinding poverty, to shorten the distance between social classes and to stop relying on shallow stereotypes.
All in all, compassion is the key to reinforce our society. As Dalai Lama said:” Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive.”

  47. I’m sorry, please ignore the first essay that is about Singapore.
    Here is the actual essay:
We live in a world full of divided divisive societies where only hostility and animosity exist. Empathy has declined to be replaced by epidemic narcissism. Nevertheless, it is the life-changing solution that every single human being needs.

All in all, compassion is the key to reinforce our society. As Dalai Lama said:” Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive.”

  48. Compassion is broadly expressed as an emotion that takes place when being a witness to another person’s dysphoria and that fosters an enthusiasm to alleviate that anguish, it generates a sense of security while putting us in a position to serve others. So, how can compassion change the world? And what is its relation with empathy? And what are its benefits?
Compassion is one of the pillars that make our society function. In point of fact, it makes sure that all those in need get the services they require. Some may think that compassion necessitate personal sacrifice, but it doesn’t. What you will receive by sharing your compassion is more than what you will give up in the process. Furthermore, compassion is the bond that unites all of humanity. It’s for this reason it involves a great character and integrity to be the one to step up and make a difference. But before taking the initiative, we need to understand what the other is going through. This is where empathy takes place, it’s like a mode of relating. This makes us realize that both compassion and empathy are two wings of the same bird. What gives the ability to go beyond simply understanding others and sharing their feelings, it actually moves us to take action to help, a reason why it’s called compassionate empathy. Hence, showing a developing kindness towards others can make us happier and healthier. Moreover, it can defeat indifference, intolerance and injustice. It’s able to replace judgement with acceptance. It embraces treating people as equals. It benefits both those who receive it and those who share it. It refuses to be selfish, it is willing to forgive, and accept people foe who they are. All this leads us to make the world a more caring place. Drawing to a close, compassion is the dominant force in the world, and every human being deserves it. We each have an endless supply of compassion and it takes us nothing to share it, as the quote goes: “We can’t heel the world today, but we can start with a voice of compassion, a heart of love, an act of kindness.”

  49. It’s incontestable that compassion became one of the most debated issues in recent years. In fact, the vast majority of experts investigated that there are several causes of empathy’s decline, such as self-centering, radical beliefs and narcissism. So, how this decline can impact our society? And How can we spread empathy and compassion in our community?
Nowadays we live in a divided, divisive society full of mistrust. Humanity, solidarity, and kindness have been replaced by narcissism, animosity, and cruelty. However, compassion is a golden key to change the world. As Dalia Lama said: “If you want others to be happy practice compassion if you want to be happy practice compassion”. Happiness doesn’t depend only on you, but also in your relationship and interactions with others.
To begin with, Compassion isn’t just a feeling but the desire to donate your talents, abilities and, most importantly, your time. Despite a popular mistaken belief that compassion must always involve great personal sacrifice, the reward you receive from sharing your compassion is more precious. When you take actions that are caring and loving, you feel more love in return. Consequently, making a difference in another human being’s life is a satisfying feeling.
In second, Compassion embraces the characteristics of human beings. It pushes us to break down stereotypes and create a welcoming community. Moreover, it allows us to think of others instead of always focusing on ourselves. The more we break out of our bubbles the less room to rely on stereotypes. In addition, it gives us the ability to understand someone else’s situation and the desire to go further to improve his life.
Thirdly, practicing compassion improves our relationships with those we care about most by eliminating conflict. It makes you quick to forgive any feelings of hostility or animosity you feel. When we care about the suffering of another, we feel a greater connection to other human beings and the world around us. This improves social interactions in everyday life.
From another part, practicing compassion is not always limited to donating or volunteering. There are several ways to act on your kindness. Firstly, respect the fact that everyone has a right to be who they are and remember that everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Additionally, be compassionate toward yourself. Be kind to yourself and work to alleviate your own suffering through forgiveness, grace, and mercy.
All in all, it is never too late for us to make a positive difference in the world. We simply start by thinking of others first. As the quote goes on: No one cares about what you know, until they know how much you care.

  50. It is beyond all a shadow of doubt that antagonism is one of the alarming issues which make more headlines in the recent decades. People from the fourth corners of the world assert that the culprits of animosity are myriad. To state some: self involvement and narcissism. Thus, sociologists are thinking about valuable solutions.
In point of fact, people nowadays are replacing compassion and solidarity by animosity. This fact makes us live in divided, divisive societies full of ill will. With reference to many studies, people are becoming self involved and they spend less time in unstructured activities which develop their solidarity. More important, technology is influencing negativity in this issue. Furthermore, researchers prove that most of people focus on the academic life more than the moral one. Hence, when empathy is missing, people become enemies.

Nonetheless, empathy and compassion are able to change people’s life. We have firstly to practice compassion and break out of our bubbles. Thus, being involved in community service activities is the best way to develop our compassionate empathy. According to our successful experience in high up, we boosted many skills, such us: teamwork, empathy and communication…As Dalai Lama said: if you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy practice compassion.” Besides, we have to impact our knowledge and stop thinking about our personal success, because working together is success.

To conclude, compassionate communities break down cruelty and narcissism. And as the maxim goes:” Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cant survive.”

  51. We live in a devided, devisive society full of mistrust. Our world is in crisis, people has switched up from good to bad, from another saying empathy and compassion has fade away. In fact, according to the Michigan university empathy has declined 40% among college students. One of the culprits is that people are so self-involved that the only thing that has value to their eyes is glory, But the most noticable cause is TV screens, laptops… It’s a sort of brain wash that has manipulated our generation’s minds, a question arises how can are we going to share compassion if we don’t face the real life ? Nevertheless, High up activities has shown a correct form of empathy for instance, H.U bake and sale activity is a way to show compassion to the poor people by buying and offering them the reliefs needed, and for sure keepping a balance between the different society classes. And as the quote goes ” if you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.”

  52. Compassion changes the society / world. However, the problematic thing is that people nowadays are self involved, cause of the less time that today’s kids play outdoors and the second reason is the less practice of compassion, which make an easy solution to deal with it but hard to convince people to agree with it : we need to practice compassion and also we need to impact our knowledge and break the bulls between the kids and the elders . So, for me we can’t change people’s minds in our society with compassion, because of their misunderstandings.

  53. Compassion and empathy are the most powerful force in the world. As matter of fact, our society is becoming divided full pf mistrust, and all the good skills are being replaced by animosity and cruelty.
Compassion is the willingness to give and to raise smile, the desire to donate. As dalai lama said « of you want others to be happy practice compassion», because the compassionate people want to impart their knowledge with other people show them what is right and what is wrong. The question that mojority of people are asking know: why students are becoming less empathetic ?
With reference to some researches one of the most culprits is the way today’s students spend their time early in life. They play outdoors much less and they spend far less time in unstructured activities that can help them to become open-mind, problem solver etc…
a researchs in U.S confirmed that the time used to be spent outdoors is now spent in front of screens. Kids are no more meeting and playing with people from different backgrounds to know their problems and try to help them. In our center we try every year to visit a marginalised school to play with them know their problems and the most important thing is making them smile and forget their challenges, since we know that volunteering and civic engagement both are two simple words that have the power to creat a welcoming atmosphere where people love helping others. In brief compassion is not just feeling with someone, but trying to change the situation, as the quote goes on “love and compassion are necessities not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive” Dalai Lama

  54. We live today in divided divisive society, were no place is left for empathic compasionate people, we don’t coexist as a community anymore but as enemies, as psychologists likes to call it « narcissism epidemie »
And to this phenomenon remains two factors, we spend more time behind screens and less time doing unstracted activities which are fundamental in kids mentality development and personality building. Equally important, interactions and relationships fade away due to self concern and mistrust among the society.
Fortunately we can still lift people out of this epidemie by imparting our knowledge, by breaking out our bubbles, and by this I mean to learn how to be more trustworthy and being a shoulder to lean on. In fact, personal success doesn’t depend on your sloely you, it’s something you give and get as the quote goes:if you want others to be happy, practice compassion if you want to be happy , practice compassion.
In brief, people are always frantically looking for personal success depending on themself when it’s all about compassion and empathy, it’s time to make a change whether it’s small or big, never underestimate acts.

  55. Compassion and empathy are the most powerful force in the world. As matter of fact, our society is becoming divided full pf mistrust, and all the good skills are being replaced by animosity and cruelty.
Compassion is the willingness to give and to raise smile, the desire to donate. 56. Compassion changes the society .
In a point of fact , when people competinate . They feel and make people happy as DalayLama say :”if you want others to be happy practice compassion . If you want to bes happy practice compassion .” Hence , people should initiative and help homless people .For example the activities of bake and sale that high up academy did .They collect money and donation and they give it to Imame shatibi . A lot of people participate in cooking because they emthiseill with them . In addition to this , Dan who help the homless peple . He feel emthy o for them so : he refurbish the busses into spaces for eating , welling , sleeping and learning . Now they have 4 busses. He is realy a great founder .
But , if we turn a deaf ear and we give them a cold shoulder , they will be lost in a shuffle . Also they will get a lot of hates from a bunch of people . Bisides , they will not have much money to satisfy their daily needs and the worst think is that they can past away . So we shuld show them respect . And if we long for hapier society we must be compassionate .

  57. Empathy is the ability to understand other people’s feeling and emotions.
In deed , empathy allows us to build social connection with others and care more about them in every day situations.
I can’t imagine a society without compassion and empathy .
It very important to have empathy for other persons because it allows us to share their emotions and help them when necessary. For example we must have empathy and compassion for the Chinese people who are suffering from Corona virus , because what is happening to them can happen to us.
In our society , we must also feel real empathy for poor people and what they are giving through such as hungry , sindnesse and pain .
Showing compassion to others feeling especially in bad moments can give some relief and help them . In addition to this, we must not give the cold shoulder to abandoned animals in our city because they need love and compassion as a humain being .
As the quote of dilemma says :”If you want others to be happy practice compassion. If you want to be happy practice compassion.

  58. Empathy changed the society a lot Also it is ‘the most powerful force in the world. In point of fact empathy has declined to be replaced by epidemic narcissism .However . It has perfect efferts on people,s relasionships. As a matter of fact,we have to practes in the activities that high up ac do to learn empathy

  59. It’s undeniable that compassion changes the world .In fact ,we live in a world lacking in compassion. The sad reality of humanity is that the vast majority of people ignore the suffering of others. Perhaps many turn a blind eye for their own survival. Witnessing the suffering of another person can evoke raw emotion of fear or sadness. We often learn compassion only after we have suffered ourselves—perhaps experiencing sickness, accident, illness, job loss, marriage breakdown, death of a loved one, discrimination… But the question is why is compassion so important to humanity?
It is the one mysterious thing that links everyone together and helps everyone understand each other despite their social, economic, or religious backgrounds .Compassion is the capacity within each of us that makes it possible for suffering that is not our own or of our concern, but will affect us as though it were.
But How can we show compassion in this world where many people practice hate and violence instead of love and kindness? In fact, compassionate people do not only sympathize and empathize but they also help the sufferings of others. In other words, compassion is not only about thoughts, feelings, and emotions, but also about actions and solutions. In point of fact, being selfless, humble, accept others, feel their pain are the best ways to compassionate with them.
All in all, compassion lifts people up. It encourages, praises and embraces the humanity of others. It is genuine, sincere and from the heart. And we should always remember that we can create a meaningful difference in the world simply by performing one simple act of compassion after another.

  60. We live in a devided, devisive society full of mistrust. In fact, Compassionate empathy allows people to understand another’s feelings and also to see how they might alleviate that person’s distress. To be more clear, empathy leads to teamwork, one of the cornerstones of any successful business. Teams who show respect and concern for one another are more likely to trust and value the input of everyone involved. In addition to that, compassion enables you to understand yourself and others more as you seek to relieve suffering. The Dalai Lama’s words are instructive because they refer to the emotional benefits of compassion to both the giver and recipient, he said: “If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion”. To summarise, love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them, humanity cannot survive.

  61. It is incontestable that empathy has been one of the most attractive issues nowadays that concerns people from different age groups. It is the ability to identify and understand other people’s emotions and step outside our own emotions to view things entirely from the perspective of the other person. The overwhelming majority of sociologists and experts from the four corners of the world agree unanimously that the culprits of decline of empathy in the society are various. To state some: Self involvement, growing prevalence of personal technology and media use in everyday life and stronger pressures on young people to succeed academically and professionally. Nevertheless, we can remove these obstacles by engaging students in community service from an early age.

As matter of fact, our society becomes day after day, more divided and divisive. With a lack of the moral education, we are no more living as one community, simply because solidarity, relief and compassion are replaced by narcissism, animosity and cruelty, people are growing fearful and suspicious from an early age. People nowadays think about their own well-being first without thinking about others’ needs. Also, some of them take advantage of situations for their own benefit and push the boundaries of reciprocity. One of the culprits that we can identify is the misuse of technology nowadays. Today’ s kids s spend their time in front of a video, computer, or phone screen, without being engaged in unstructured activities as the prior generations used to do. These activities boost creativity, promote independent thinking and value Socialization. With all these skills, a child becomes able to communicate freely and increase his productivity. For instance, a high-five, pat on the back, thumbs up, or even a nod of approval, these are simple gestures that can help build confidence in kids.
In a fascinating study released by Making Caring Common, a project of the Harvard graduate School of education, researchers found that most children in middle school and high school value personal success over concern for others, and they say their parents and teachers do, too. Nowadays, the vast majority of students insist on the academic education rather than the moral one. Of course, getting high marks is one of our priorities, but being kind to others and trying our best to impart our knowledge and helping other students should be in the list.
One of the high effective ways for enhancing empathy is engaging students in community service. For instance, while providing clothes, books and some basic needs for people who are living in the throes of extreme poverty, you can release that being happy doesn’t t depend solely on you, but in your relationships and interactions with others.
To sum up, empathy is skill like any other human skill, if you practice it, you can get better in it.

  62. Compassion is the most powerful force in the world , every person on earth desires it and every human being deserves it . It is an absolute fact that our society can not function without compassion. It’s a fundamental part of our community , and it’s necessary to ensure that all those in need receive the support and sevices they require. But to be honest , despite our widely shared experience and beliefs about compassion , we often fail to give it a central role in our lives. In our contemporary culture, we tend to have a rather confused relationship with values and compassion . In other words, we al have interacted with some people that seem to have a lack of compassion , at some point of our lives . And most of us know that those experiences can leave us feeling frustrated , unsettled , angry , disappointed and even betrayed mainly when we need support . It gets even harder and more painful if you are in a relationship with people who are unable to put themselves in your shoes . Especially when we consider them our friends , or maybe even worse , when those people are family members and we have to be in contact with them frequently . Have you ever thought about wether technology affects empathy ? Many reaserchers have given various possible effects technology might have on “us” . Some studies show that empathy and compassion are negatively affected by technology use , espacially social media use , mostly because technology tends to decrease face-to-face interaction . And now , i am going to share with you a way to make compassion ” contagious” : Be present , then start compassioning ; put down your phone , shut your laptop , and notice your surrondings . Your actions can create a ripple effect of goodness in your community . So what are you waiting for ? Get out of your bubble , and practice compassion . In a nutshell , we can’t heal the world today , but we can begin with a voice of COMPASSION , a heart of love and an act of kindness.

  63. Nowadays we live in a divided, divisive society full of mistrust. A huge number of people grow fearful and suspicious of one another. They are self-involved and self-centered. Unfortunately, compassion, solidarity and kindness have been replaced by narcissism, animosity and cruelty. I personally think that compassion changes society. In fact, Dalai Lama once said: “if you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion”. In this remark from the Dalai Lama lies an important message. It tells us that the secret to becoming happy does not just lie within ourselves, but in our connections and interactions with others. It is an absolute fact that our society cannot function without compassion. It is a fundamental part of our communities, and it is necessary to ensure that all those in need receive the supports and services they require. Compassion drives society to be inclusive and to allow all of its members to be fully engaged in life. It is what compels human beings to care about each other and to help each other. It is the willingness to give. It is the desire to donate your talents, abilities and, most importantly, your time. Compassion exists when you impart your knowledge to other people and expect no return. It is the commitment to place someone else’s needs above your own. Some mistakenly believe that compassion must always involve great personal sacrifice, but that is not true. The reward you receive from sharing your compassion is far more significant than anything you might give up in the process. To make a real difference in another human being’s life is a richly satisfying feeling. Firestone says, “When we take actions that are caring and loving, we feel more love in return.” Unfortunately, it is far too easy to stand on the sidelines in life and wait for “others” do the right thing. It takes character and integrity to be the one who is willing to step up and make a difference. To feel sympathy for someone is not enough. We must also be willing to take action because compassion without action is just observation. I think that we need to engage students in community service from an early age. It’s a fact that children who learn to volunteer and do community services right from an early age are more likely to volunteer as adults, and turn out to be kind and compassionate human beings. By exposing kids to volunteer activities early on, they form good habits and connections—making volunteering the norm. In addition to this, parents or educators have to teach about humanity. In fact, having a broad worldview and connection to humanity leads individuals to feel more strongly connected to others and more tolerant in general. Guardians, educators, and good role models can help kids develop a connection to humanity by teaching about the similarities and differences that exist in humans and cultures. They can buy books that teach about the struggles and triumphs of humanity, and diverse people and cultures or even participate in community events outside of their own circle or neighborhood. Finally and most importantly, educators and parents have to practice positive behaviors. As the saying goes, “practice makes perfect”, or in this case, practice steers you in the right direction. Modeling positive behaviors encourages kids to replicate similar actions, which is an important first step in becoming a compassionate being. “Doing the right thing” isn’t always easy for kids. Especially considering they are likely still learning, what “the right thing” is. Fortunately, there are many fun ways to practice reinforcing positive behaviors of showing gratitude, being generous and caring for others.
To conclude, I think that compassion changes everything.Whether it’s helping people in their hardest moments or chipping away at a hardened society with drips and drops of random kindness, our small actions can completely alter the landscape of our world.

  64. We live in a divided divisive society full of mistrust. Most of the sociologists have noticed that people grow fearful and suspicious of one another. They keep to themselves. They stop being a community.
What is worst; compassion solidarity and kindness have been replaced by narcissism, animosity and cruelty. According to a recent study; empathy has declined 40% among college students and this phenomenon is labeled as a “narcissism epidemic”. Nowadays people are so self-centered and care just about their own glory. This issue is more existing within the students, since, today’s kids play outdoors much less and spend far less time in unstructured activities with each other than prior generations.
And despite the belief that happiness depends solely on you, the way to achieve it may not lie just within yourself, but in your relationships and interactions with others. And as Dalai Lama once said: “Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them, humanity cannot survive.” “If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.”
It is true that compassion changes not only the society but also the world and in order to achieve this, we must practice those skills more often by imparting our knowledge to other people and break out of our bubbles.
As the quote goes on: “No one cares how much you know, until they know how much you care”.

  65. Compassion changes the society. In fact, when the people are compassionate, they feel good and make people happy. As Dalai Lama: “If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.” Like did our beautiful school high up academy; baking and selling, buying clothes to a very poor school, and did all of this with respect and empathy, because when you feel empathy, you feel like you did something good and beneficial, even if it is just a small act of kindness.

  66. We live in a world lacking in compassion. The sad reality of humanity is that the vast majority of people ignore the suffering of others. Perhaps many turn a blind eye for their own survival. Witnessing the suffering of another person can evoke raw emotion of fear or sadness or repulsion. Too often, people are detached or willfully blind.
We often learn compassion only after we have suffered ourselves—perhaps experiencing sickness, accident, illness, job loss, marriage breakdown, death of a loved one, prejudice, discrimination, social scorn, bad luck…
Without it, we would descend into a state of war. We would continually witness , the detonating of the Atomic bomb, the wicked deeds of the Holocaust. The philosopher Thomas Hobbes once said, “Life is nasty, brutish, and short.” I tend to agree.
He also said that without government, “The natural condition of man is a condition of war. Everyone against everyone else. The Dalai Lama stated it best: “Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them, humanity cannot survive.”
In other words Compassion means having kindness, feeling other people’s pain and suffering, and avoiding hurting or harming others for one’s own ends. Compassion thrives in a person who rises above his selfishness and egoism and who finds enough virtue in others to appreciate them and understand them.
He radiates compassion like the sun radiates light. He is never separate from it and never unmindful of it.
All in all as Roy T. Bennett said : “More smiling, less worrying. More compassion, less judgment. More blessed, less stressed. More love, less hate.”

  67. Compassion or empathy changes the society. In point of fact, when people are compassionate, they feel and people happy. As Dalai Lama says:”If you want others to be happy ,practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion,an exemple of compassion our activity in high up cook for a smile,in this activity people take the oppertinities to cook and sell and collect money which it will sendet to a homlesse’s school, this activity help students to know the big role and the nessecety of compation in our world,an auther exemple of compassion, the video that we sow last time, the video is about a young man named than,he was living rought on the street.one day he got the idea to refurbish buses into space for eating, sleeping, welbleing and learning thats project help really homeless.our gonvernment must care about those people because they are lost in the shuffle.and also we must encourage project like this because it helps the society.

  68. Nowadays, empathy has become one the most debated issues in the world.in fact,a huge number of sociologists and critical thinkers detected that empathy has been decreasing more and more in the new generation due to numerous causes such as kids being self-involved,choosing staying in their houses and playing video games and sitting hours looking at their laptops over playing with their friends and creating bonds with new people,so empathy is being more and more submerged by animosity and antagonism.but we can stand in front of this phenomenon and challenge it by increasing the number of community services activities with aim of building empathy in people’s life and making them forget about their prejudices and in the opposite, they try to understand people’s feelings and and emotions and they stand for them and help them with anything that makes them happy.so empathy is fondamental to build a good community and to let people be more aware of the pain in people’s hearts and as the quote says:when empathy is missing, other people become an annoyance, even a threat or enemy,so don’t be that person who lacks empathy.practice its cultivation daily.

  69. It has been irrefutably proven that in this age we live in a divided, divisive world, full of hostility and animosity among all the different social classes. The experts and sociologists have noticed that people from all walks of life grow fearful and suspicious of one another. So how can empathy and compassion change this shameful fact?

In the first side, why we ended up being not only self-involved but even we stopped being a community? In a point of fact, one of the culprits is “the fear of the other”. In other words, we fear things and people that are different from us, and that’s what leads us to be in a bubble of antagonism and mistrust. What is the worst, the projection is to “fear of our selves”. Actually, the things people hate about others are the things they fear within themselves; “ I’m not terrible you are”; it is the lack of self-compassion. And we don’t forget the societal and cultural factors, we fear connecting because it requires us to reveal something about ourselves, about our history. The ill-will taught is to hate and to be racist.
In the other side, the two golden keys: empathy and compassion. First, empathy is the ability to hear thoughtfully, understanding the other situation, sharing his feelings by imagining what would be like if we where in his shoe and moreover it actually moves you to take action and help. Second, compassion is a strong feeling of sympathy and sadness for the suffering or bad lack of other and wish to help them. In brief, they are the bedrock of humanity and happiness; Dalai Lama said, “if you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion”. No one can deny the satisfaction and self relief we get by helping and empowering others without expect nothing in returns. So when those keys are missing people became an annoyance and even threat, they reinforce their selfish qualities and biases. Besides, if you keep hate in your heart for others, you would hate your self as well. What will lead you yo many serious mental health issues.

To conclude, we are all born with the capacity for agression and acrimony as well as compassion and empathy. The key to overcome this issue is education: at home, in schools and in the community. It’s our responsibility to teach people and specially the new generation compassion, empathy, solidarity, kindness and critical thinking. To teach how to be a support, a shoulder to lean on and a valuable humain-being. we must break out of this hatred bubble. Dalai Lama once said, “ when we take actions that are caring and loving, we feel more love in return”. In the end, it’s easy to hate and fight each other, but when we will be ready to stand up and fight for each other?

  70. Community service builds the volenteers empathy. In fact,it’s an obligatory feeling to make a balance between the rich and the poor and have a peaceful community, for me I find that bake and sale is the best exemple, because it helps us to awaken and exercise the bravery into us and also the compatssionate empathy. In breaf, compassionate empathy is obligatory in our life to have a peaceful society, and as a cote goes:”Empathy is seeing with the eyes of another, listening with the ears of another and feeling with the heart of another”.

  71. “Compassion and tolerance are not sign of weakness, but a sign of strengh”.Empathy involves the ability to emotionally understand what another person is going through.Essentially,it is putting yourself in someone else’s shoes.Practicing empathy can create harmonious relashionships, relieve stress and enhance emotional awareness.Besides,we go beyong feeling empathetic that we show kindness with an unconditional love and understanding.
Neverthless, sociologists assert that compassion and solidaruty have been replaced by cruelty, narcissism and selfishness. Many factors contribute to this topic stating:technology, prejudgments and segregation.
Moreover, the purpose of human life is to serve and to show compassion and the will to help others, however the majority of people lack this vital trait which is the magic key to reinforce the society and build social connections with people from different life levels and also enlarge our skills and knowledge. It is the way to break down barbaric people with ill attitude and fight discrimination without caring which about people’s race, religion or beliefs.
In addition, one of the secrets of inner peace is to practice compassion because no one has ever become poor by giving, that’s why every year High up Academy takes the initiative to organize volunteery activities in order to draw a smile on people’s face as a way to cultivate empathy, share feelings and perspectives and encourage students to use it as a guide of their actions.
Furthermore, empathizing with others allows us to make our self vulnerable and also learn how to regulate our emotions that it makes us manage what we are feeling, even in times of great stress without becoming overwhelmed.More and above compassion creates a more loyal, engaged, and productive community ,as we should cultivate kindness and empathy as a lifestyle and use it as radical force for social reinforcement and thus improve it the lives of everyone around us.Further, practicing in volunteery work or showing kindness creates a great sense of satisfaction.
to sum up,we need to understand that it does not matter who you are or how much income you own,you need to be always a human by making difference with small acts or words that have a huge impact on the others. If you have the oportunity to help someone just do it because one day we can be those people who need that act of kindness.

  72. compassion has a great impact on the society;it changes it. Indeed, compassion brings people together, it makes the world a better place. In addition to this, compassion keeps the world emotionally connected. Yet, as we all know, we’re unfortunately living in a world lacking in compassion. the overwhelming majority of people ignore caring about others, they don’t even try to make an effort and make someone happy. and as we can all see, we have a decline of empathy and it has many causes. I think to overcome this problem or obstacle, we must make people conscious and aware of the importance of compassion in order to live in a peaceful world, especially students, we must teach them the importance of compassion and engage them in community service activities. and I can take our activity in school as an example. our teacher and us, tried to help people by making an activity named “cook to raise a smile”. We had so much fun and were very happy to raise a smile on others’ faces, we collected money and tried to make them happy. by a simple act you can make others happy, so why don’t you try? last but not least, compassion allows us to connect with others, and I would like to finish my paragraph with a wonderful quote :” one love, one heart, one destiny”.

  74. No one can deny that empathy changes our society and makes it better. In point of fact, compassion is feeling sorrow and pity for a suffering and unfortunate person.
During this decade researches have shown that 40% among college’s students in Michigan university feel empathy. Actually, a society without empathy becomes divided and divisive. Compassion, tenderness and solidarity will be replaced by cruelty, animosity and antagonism.
Furthermore, riches will start walking over the poors by turning them deaf ears.
It’s not easy to change people’s behavior and reaction to others feelings and emotions. Still, we can change the society by promoting empathy and compassion in schools through education, community service and volunteering work. Better socializing and sympathizing with poor students can help us understand their feeling and suffering and thus be tempted to helping them. Besides, these activities will make rich and poor closer to each other and will build a community based on love and peace.
All in all, as Dallailama, the Buddhist leader, said : ” If you want to make the other happy practice compassion, if you want to be happy practice compassion”.

  75. compassion changes the society .Yet,most of the time people grow fearful and suspicious and they are selfish. In other words ,compassion, solidarity and kindness have been replaced by norcissism, animosity and cruetly for some reasons.Firstly we have less unstructured activities, exactly kids play outdoors much less and they spend far less time in unstructured activity that can make children don’t get to know each other very well.Secondly, more screem time overuhelming of kids spend a lot of time in technology for example the television, obviously cannot teach empathy to the kids however nonviolent kids ,research finds, is filled with indirect agression. And finaly we have the parents and teachers insist personnal achivement.Who sometimes the kids think that the glory is the most important objectif in his life but the problem is in the parents and teachers ,they love just the good marks and don’t care about the work and the efforts. We need to change people and remind him that compassion and the empathy make someone critical thinker and open minded.Once Dalai Lama said “If you want others to be happy , practice compassion. If you want to be happy , practice compassion”

  76. We live in a divided, divisive society , full of mistrust. In fact, many sociologists have noticed that that people stop being a community. And the worst that not only compassion but also solidarity and even kindness have been replaced by narcissism, antagonism and antipathy .
Actually people nowadays become self-centred . With reference with research from the university of Michigan empathy has declined 40% among college students . Besides this research noticed that students show selfish qualities, and they care just about their glory. Having this huge number of students with a lack of empathy is a result of spending more time in front of screens, instead of participating in the unstructured activities .

However, -the compassionate people want to impart their know-how and their knowledge .As Jen Groover notes “True compassion exists when you give your strength, guidance and wisdom to empower another so that you can see who you really are and expect nothing in return .” For that the more we break out of our bubbles , the less room to rely on shallow stereotypes about difference, from age to race to gender .

Finally, as Dalai Lama said “If you want to be happy practice compassion “.

  77. We live in a divided society full of mistrust. In the last year, the world is losing empathy and compassion between the societies and those good values are replaced by animosity acrimony and ill will. Nevertheless, we overcame this issue by teaching student to practice more activities related to community services.
In fact, this problem is based on the bad education of children, as we can see that kids are less playing outdoor so they can’t learn to connect with others and creating relation, however, they are staying at home in front of the screens, playing video games, and creating fake relation with other people that they don’t even meet in their life. So to solve this problem parents must push their children to play out, meet new friend, then we will teach kids solidarity and empathy to them when they are young, and it will grow with them.
The benefits of empathy are uncountable, as the quote goes “if you want others to be happy, practice compassion .if you want to be happy, practice compassion”. In addition to this with empathy we can break stereotypes, and the more we practice community service the more we break out of the bubbles.
All in all, if we a compassionate community we can develop in all the domains in small period of time and in easy and simple ways, and that’s thanks to the cooperation and solidarity between people.

  78. Of all the titles I ‘ ve been privileged to have, community service has always been the best. Yes, it’s undeniable that we live in a devided, divisive society full of mistrust. What is worst, compassion, solidarity and kindness have been replaced by narcism, animosity and cruelty.
In addition to this, compassionate communities break down stereotypes : the more we work to create a welcoming community, through volunteering and civic engagement, the more we break out of our bubbles, the less room to rely on shallow stereotypes about differences, from age to race to gender, with reference to a research conducted in the US empathy is on the decline.
In point of fact, today’s kids play outdoors much less and they spend far less time in unstructured activity with others than generations, according to a study released by Making Caring Common, researchers found that most children value personal success over concern for others, and they say their parents and teachers do too, so the thing that it stops us practicing compassion and impart our knowledge and our know how, is the screen time and the less fun unstructured activities, without ignoring the main responsables : parents, teachers and the personal achievement.
With reference to the american quote : ‘No one cares how much you know until they know how much you care “.

  79. We live in a divided, divisive society , full of mistrust. In fact, many sociologists have noticed that that people stop being a community. And the worst that not only compassion but also solidarity and even kindness have been replaced by narcissism, antagonism and antipathy .
in point of fact, the Michigan’s university have noticed that empathy has declined 40% among college students. nowadays, people are more depressed and stressed to many causes like speding more time on the screens. also kids, they’re spending less time outdoor because of video games or texting on social media. community service is not working with this depressed society that can’t feel solace to people. the best solution to fix that problem is to practice compasion, as dalai lama once said””if you want others to be happy practice compassion, if you want to be happy practice compassion””.
in conclusion, if people can change their way of thinking, they will have less acrimony and less animosity to people around them.

  80. Our society becomes divided and divisive and enemity lurks everywhere .We all have interacted with some people that seem to have a lack of empathy, at some point of our lives. I know that those experiences can leave us feeling angry, disappointed, and even betrayed, mainly when we need support. It gets even harder and more painful if you are in a relationship with someone who is unable to put themselves in your shoes. Especially when we consider some of these people our friends, or maybe even worse, when those people are family members and we have to be in contact with them frequently. empathy doesn’t come naturally to all of us. Some people are more empathetic than others. People who lack empathy were probably raised in families who were avoiding to get in touch with their feelings and even condemned others for feeling their emotions. Some people have learned to shut down their feelings early in their lives to such a degree that they can’t even feel their own feelings , they certainly can’t relate or feel other people’s feelings. what is the worst, the vast majority either turn a blind eye or treat people with contempt. As a result, these people end up lacking self-compassion, self-love and are disconnected from their authentic self .However, there are other cases in which lack of empathy is associated to severe disorders such as narcissism. And as the quote goes :If you want others to be happy practice compassion if you want to be happy practice compassion.
finally , love and compassion are necessities , not luxuries without them , humanity can not survive.

  81. How to change a society? By technology? By an economic development? Well, none of those afford a balanced life. To illustrate, the happiness of the society is based on helping each other, on supporting each other ; it is based on compassion. Unfortunately, nowadays, everyone is obsessed only with the development of his life, thinking that having more money and having a higher post in his work …etc can make him happy. But forgetting that happiness is easy to feel, it is simple to get ; the moment you help someone, you draw a smile on his face, thus you draw the satisfaction in your heart which spread in your soul the happiness.
Additionally, the problem here is that the degree of compassion in our society is in a decrease, why? One of the main reasons is that we ‘re not educated with the habit of helping. We are all grown in an environment full of selfishness. Our faces are all the time swimming in the screens of our phones and our computers, thus , we all have blind eyes to see the others problems. But, the momem we recognized that means that we must change !!! We must manage our time in order to spend more time with our family and our friends. Hence, we build strong relationships resulting the value of solidarity. And that way, whenever someone has a problem, it is everyone ‘ s problem, and everyone offer some of their time and their potentiality to help. As a result ,a strong happy society is formed.
As a conclusion, what we need is the change. And that needs someone to start it, so why we to not be the source of this development. As the quote goes: no one care about how much you now till they know how much you care.

  82. Today, one no longer cares about the feelings of others but rather feels envy, selfishness and hatred towards them, which led to the outbreak of fierce wars between the two parties. A person calls for tolerance and love between people! Who will pay attention to this principle? Today, the stronger eat the weak, and also they aren’t longer interested in his neighbor, for example.
Even though we use a lot the internet and social media, so why we still divide? Things like racism, Islamophobia, or homophobia are still so prevalent in our world even though now more than ever we have access to so much information and stories. Too many people are still hiding within their little groups and not reaching out into the world or wanting to meet people different from them.
The reason why I am so interested in empathy is that I think it’s the best quality someone can have and it’s a cure for so many social problems and world issues. Empathy can reduce conflict between people, build more meaningful relationships.
Empathetic means truly accepting another person and not judging them just because of his color for example, even if you might not be able to understand, relate to, or agree with it. It means fully putting yourself in their shoes by thinking about all of the life situations.
I think that to make this world love again we need more empathy and compassion. We need to teach the next generation about all of the people and cultures around the world and that we are all human alike and part of one family on this Earth. No more can our borders be dividers and our religions barriers for communication, we need humanity to open up its arms again and embrace everyone with understanding and empathy. This is the only way we can all work together to achieve peace.
“An open heart is an open mind.” -Dalai Lama

  83. Community service build the volunteers empathy.
Infact it help to build teamwork, it empower kids to be more helpful to poor person and to create an equal society and also create friendship it help to be more friendly to the others without discrimination. Thats why our school encourage their students to empathize with others and teach them to help and sympathize with them but also high up create a bake and sell activity to earn money and give it to a poor school.
When doing tose activities lot of person will empathize to those kids who are living in those conditions and will encourage as to continue.
All in all empathy is very helpfull for the persom who are not helping itch others.

  84. Hello every one, today i’m going to speak about compassion.
So what is the meaning of compassion; compassion is the synonyme of empythy. Compassion, can change our world?
Like Dalai lama said {If you want others to be happy ,practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion}. Like our activities in high up ac and oke center the goal of theise activities is to feel and see the problems of the poors. So you have to be sympathetic if you want the others love you but if you are not sympathetic no one is gonna love you.
In addition to this, compassion can change our world because some governors said ” i will do this and this….some thing like that” but they don’t do any thing because they are not sympathetic; they don’t feel what the poors feel. And this is one of the causes of our bad gonvernment.

  85. Compassion changes the society. Yet , we live in a divided and divisive society full of mistrust, where every single member of it is selfish. People now are getting fearful and suspicious of one another. They just keep being self-involved, and stop being a community. Unfortunally, all the good values, as compassion, clemency and solace, have been replaced by antipathy, antagonisme and acrimony. With reference to a research conducted in the U.S, empathy is on the decline. A study from the university of Michigan, noticed that empathy has declined 40% among college students. Some of the culprits that lead to this naracissim epidemic are ” more scren time and less unstructured activities”. Indeed, today’s kids prefer spending more time in front their screens that playing outdoors with other playmates. Therfore, children don’tt get to know each other very well. Besides, most of teachers and parents encourage the children to achieve personal success. Thus, children keep valuing personal achievement over concern for others.
despite popular belief that happiness depends solely on you, the way to achieve it may not lie just within yourself, but in your relationships and interactions with others. As Dalai Lama once siad:” if you want to be happy, practice compassion. If you want others to be happy, practice compassion.” Compassionate people act on their kindness either through volunteering, or just being a shoulder to lean on. In addition to that, the more we work to create a welcoming community, the more we break out of our bubles. In brief, we can’t heal the world today, but we can begin with a voice of compassion, a heart of love, and an act of kindness.

  86. Compassion changes the society. Nevertheless, people nowdays have replaced compassion, solidarity and kidness with narcissism, animosity and cruelty. With reference to a study from the University of Michigan, they noticed empathy has declined 40 percent among college students. Also, people become self-involved and divisive, there is many reasons as: kids spend far less time in unstructured activities and play out doors much less, television and screen are one of the important reasons. So they spend more screen time which was supposed to be spend on unstructured activities and playing out doors. Morover, the main reason of this animosity is parents and teachers who teach students to value personal sucess. Either to teach hem how to show others great kindness and time work to be more friendly and open-minded.
Finally, I conclude that we live in divided, divisive society full of mistrust and compassion can get us out of the sholdor. As Dalai Lama sad:” If you want
others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion “.

  87. First, empathy is about sharing an emotion with someone, or feeling the way they feel, even if you aren’t in the same situation. When you feel an emotion along with someone, even if you aren’t directly affected by whatever is causing their situation, that’s empathy.

Example 1: Have you ever felt sad with a friend just because he was sad? That’s empathy! So for example, if you feel sad with your friend because he didn’t make the soccer team (even though you aren’t affected by him not making the team)… that’s empathy. Sharing his sadness is a kind of empathy.

Example 2: Have you ever been with a friend who just got a new toy and she’s so excited about it and you get super excited too? If you are feeling excited because you know how great it can feel to get a new toy (even though you didn’t get a toy and you aren’t playing with the toy)… that’s empathy. Being excited with and for your friend is a kind of empathy.

  88. Compassion changes the society. Nevertheless, people nowdays have replaced compassion, solidarity and kidness with narcissism, animosity and cruelty. With reference to a study of the University of Michigan, they noticed empathy has declined 40 percent among college students. Also, people become self-involved and divisive, there is many reasons as: kids spend far less time in unstructured activities and playing out doors much less, television and screen are one of the important reasons. So they spend more screen time which was supposed to be spend on unstructured activities and playing out doors. Moreover, the main reason of this animosity is parents and teachers who teach students to value personal sucess , either to teach hem how to show others great kindness and time work to be more friendly.
Finally , I conclude that we live in a divided, divisive society full of mistrust and compassion can get us out of the sholdor. As Dalai Lama sad :”If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion

  89. Today, we live in a divided society full of mistrust, and empathy has been one of the most debated issues, recently, sociologist noticed that people live in fear and they grow suspicious of one another.
Love, compassion and kindness have been replaced by animosity, hate and antagonism. In fact,
Dalai Lama once said “if you want others to be happy, practice compassion, if you want to be happy, practice compassion” it’s the only key to happiness nowadays. The way to achieve it may not lie just within yourself, but in your relationship and how you communicate with others. Without compassion we would descend into a state of war. In general compassion means to have genuine concern for all humanity and not just for your own tribe, and we must develop that.
Firestone says “when we take actions that are caring and loving, we feel more love in return” she explains why compassionate people act on their kindness, and that compassionate people want to impart their knowledge to others.
Finally, compassion means to believe in respect and equality. It means to live peacefully and avoid engaging in violent behavior.
The more we work to create a welcoming community through volunteering and civic engagement, the more we break our bubbles.

  90. Community service build the volunteers empathy. In fact,Empathy is defined as the ability to understand the thoughts feelings or emotions of someone else. Those people get engaged in activities, such as the backe and sale activity,in goal to help needy people and make them feel that they can coexist with others. The volonteers empathy is called compassionate empathy or compassion. It’s when someone shows acts of kindness and empathy to others, and have the ability to understand what the others feel. Why is comappsion important ?Compassion gives us the ability to understand someone else’s situation and the desire to take action to improve their lives it is often the most important factor in allowing them to lead their lives. In goal to build a stable nation, based of love, equality and peace. As the quote goes : <>

  91. Empathy is understanding people’s feelings, entering into their world of feelings and showing them that we feel this way. I think that aiming for empathy has a significant importance, especially if we work or live in a multicultural environment or easily can find ourselves among people who are in a different situation. I also notice that when I feel empathy for others and for myself, I feel a sense of peace, connection, and perspective that I like. And, when there is an absence of empathy in a particular relationship, situation, or in how I’m relating to myself, I often experience stress, disconnection, and negativity. Empathy is important because it helps us understand how others are feeling so we can respond appropriately to the situation. It is typically associated with social behaviour and there is lots of research showing that greater empathy leads to more helping behaviour.

  92. Community service builds the volonteer s empathy.
In point of fact , Empathy is defined as the ability to understand the thoughts feelings or emotions of someone else and is feeling sorrow and pity for a suffering and unfortunate person. Well compassion can change it, it makes the volounteers optimistic and make them break out from their bubbles . Those people get involved in activities such as bake and sale. The volunteers help the poor people and their empathize with them. This activity helps us to awaken and exercise the bravery into us and also the compatssionate empathy. In brief, compassion make a balance between the rich and the poor. As the quote goes: no one care about how much you now till they know how much you care.

  93. No one can deny that feeling compassion and empathy toward others is the peerless process to change a society and people’s lives. As matter of fact, we’re living a divided community ful of mistrust, which is abond of barbarism, persecution and sefishness that pushes, people abhorre each other and create a strong feeling of animosity. Nevertheless, we can overcome all this handicaps by imersing students more in structured activities and community service in order to overpower any sign of a selfish quality.
In deed, being in a community is imparting knowledge of each compassionate person and showing a developping kindness and clemency to everybody. In addition to this, feeling compation is a way to think about others instead of focusing on ourselves, and nudging the nation to spend far less time in unstructured activities with others than prior generation.
According to Dr James Doty: “Practicing compassion with intention has a positive physiological effect on the body. It can lower blood pressure and increase your calmness.” So it’s very clear: treating others with empathy, care and charity has ripple effect not just within the society but also in the body of every person.
Moreover, volunterring is the greatest way to create a true compassion since you empower poor people with giving them all your indulgence and guidance so as to raise educationnal relief. The most eloquent example that illustrate this is the activity of backe and sale which proves to people that we should not just put ourselves in their shoes but also take the initiative of helping them.
All in all, the more we break out of our bubbles the less room to rely on stereotypes. As Dalai Lama said: “If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.”

  94. “Compassion, empathy and love are the real pillars we need to build in ourselves to become human” according to Loknath quote we conclude that those 3 values are necessary to build our ethics then our community. But, unfortunatly,we live in a divided, dividive society full of mistrust ,narcissism, animosity and cruelty. If so ,what are the reasons for this change?
In point of fact, the causes are many to state some:
Screen time,in other word people spend most of their time on social media, where they are isolated from the external environement. In addition to this, the less unstructed activities are one of the main reasons for this chage, because today’s kids play outdoor much less so they don’t get to know each other verywell.
However, there are a lot of solutions to stop this issue, as Dalai said”if you want others to be happy, practice compassion, if you want to be happy, practice compassion”, so we can conclude that practicing compassion in our daily life is the best way to end all those empathy and kindness problems, we should try to do some good deeds evryday. Such as: giving charity to poor people, helping eldery, or even with a kind word or smile. So that compassion and colaboration spread.
To conclude,no matter how educated talented, rich or cool you believe you are , how you treat people ultimately tells as.Because, no one cares how much you know untill they know how much you care.

  95. Compassion changes the society. In point of fact ,empathy doesn t describe what you like its an ability that you process ;it s very important because if we miss it people will become in my opinion comunity service is the best solution cause it empower kids to be more helpful to poor person and to create an equal society and also create friendship it help to be more friendly to the others without discrimination. in other word donation getting ingaged in some activities related to donation, also being kinf with the others is one a solutions ,thats why our school high up academy is ingages on baking ans seling. As a quote go :Empathyis seing with the others, listening with the other, and fellingwith the heart of an other .

  96. Compassion change the society. In point of fact, when people are compassionate, they feel and make people happy. Like Dalai lama said :”when you want others to be happy practice compassion and if you want to be happy practice compassion ”
Hence , if we long for to share empathy, we’ll have a happier life and society, we must be compassion .
life is the best way to end all those empathy and kindness problems, we should try to do some good deeds evryday,When you see another person suffering, you might be able to instantly envision yourself in the other person’s place and feel sympathy for what they are going through.
Finally, It’s not easy to change people’s behavior and reaction to others feelings and emotions. Still, we can change the society by promoting empathy and compassion in schools through education, and no one cares how much you know untill they know how much you care.

  97. Huge number of people grow fearful and suspicious of one another. Therefore,we are being part of a society full of narcissism, animosity and cruelty.
In fact, community service builds the volunteer’s empathy. It’s reinforce and empower the relationship between people from different background. So,they get more closer and build a peaceful community. In addition to this, empathy is important because it helps us understand how others are feeling so we can respond to the situation. As well,we must fight aigainst certain behaviors and replace them by compassion and kindness. As the quote goes:”Empathy is seeing with the eyes of another, listening with the ears of another and feeling with the heart of another”
To conclude,we should not turn a blind eye to needy people on the contrary we should empathize and show some kindness.

  98. Compassion changes the society. In fact, nowadays we are leaving in a divided, divisive society full of mistrust. People keep to themselves and they are stopping being a community. Nevertheless, we can overcome these obstacles by engaging students in community service activities and teaching them the importance of sharing.
we are living in a society in which compassion, solidarity and kindness have been replaced by narcissism, animosity and cruelty. A study from the university of Michigan, noticed that empathy has declined 40 % among college students.
like, in our academy “High up Academy”, we are working on building a strong society by community services. The best examples are the volunteery works that we do every year. This activities are so beneficial; it make the student a good citizen and a future leader by collaborating and manipulating his services.

  99. Once,a group of 50 people was attending a seminar.Suddenly, the speaker decided to do a group activity. He started giving each one of them a balloon and asked them to write their names on it.Then, all the balloons were put in another room. Now,thess delegates were asked to find the balloon which had their name written in 5 minutes.Everyone was frantically looking for their name colliding with each other. At the end,no one could find his own balloon. Now,each one was asked to randomly collect a balloon and give it to the person whose name was written on it.Within minutes, everyone had their own balloon.
Exactly, this is happening in our lives.Everyone is frantically looking for happiness all around not knowing where it is.Therefore, our happiness lies in the society’s happiness. For this reason, compassion is the purpose of human life.
Compassion doesn’t change just the society but also the whole world. In fact, nowadays, few people empathize with the indigents and show them great kindness. The vast majority turn a deaf ear.One of the culpits that we identify is the parents’role in their children’s growth as they are responsable of their behaviours and they must connect them to the community.Added to this, they must teach them how to become compassionate to act and build their emotional connections with others.
As the quote goes:”when empathy is missing, other people become an annoyance, even threat or enemy”.
To conclude,if we want to avoid becoming a divided and divisive society,we must not lack empathy and limit ourselves to people and media.
